Selective Real Estate was founded on real-life experience, beginning with the journey of a first-generation migrant Amarpreet who arrived in Australia in 2009 with just a couple of suitcases and a few thousand dollars.

Starting from a scratch in his area of expertise, there was a swift achievement in saving enough to purchase a Principal Place of Residence by 2011.

A strong fascination with the Australian property market, combined with an analytical mindset and relentless curiosity, sparked a desire to gain deeper insight. Amarpreet’s early investment journey included two unsuccessful land purchases in different parts of Victoria, in turn provided valuable learning experiences that helped shape future success.

Recognising the need for formal education to succeed in the property journey, Amarpreet pursued a Real Estate license certification along with multiple property investment courses between 2017 and 2021, applying that knowledge directly to build his own investment portfolio.

Over the past four years, that expertise and knowledge has been used to invest extensively in property, learning from past challenges to build a $4 million portfolio spanning multiple properties across different states in Australia.

This passion for property investment and the drive to support others led to the creation of Selective Real Estate Buyers Agency. The vision then, and now, is to guide others in building portfolios that generate cash flow, grow equity, and ultimately achieve financial freedom, by investing “selectively.”
